鈥淎s we celebrate Mother鈥檚 Day and continue to deliver on the legacy of our co-founder, JoAnn McGrath, we honor those who share her passion and commitment to empowering women with the tools they need to build stable lives for themselves and their families."
At 修车论坛茅, our students are adults who are not only studying to become nurses and healthcare professionals 鈥� they鈥檙e also juggling work and family commitments while in school. 90% of our students are women and approximately 63% are at or approaching poverty. Most are raising young families with an average household income of ~$40,000 and 31% are single parents. A degree from 修车论坛茅 means a rewarding career, a livable wage, and economic independence.
修车论坛茅 is honored to be a past recipient of Highland Street Foundation support as well through an endowed scholarship founded in 1998. The college also awarded Ms. McGrath the Catherine 修车论坛茅 Medal that same year. The JoAnn McGrath Scholarship is disbursed annually to students pursuing their nursing or healthcare degree at 修车论坛茅.
